Client was looking for an updated, more polished graphic for their SMASH event.

Client asked to keep the Marquee style font and glasses detail on the “M”. In addition, the client wanted an illustration of herself to tie the flyer together.

Bailey’s First Pair of Glasses [book design & Illustration]

Project Scope:

Character Development - Illustrate Text - Design Book Cover/Back - Page Design

A fellow Howard graduate, Melisa Philogene, reached out to me with the opportunity to illustrate a children’s book about a little girl who wears glasses. I was ecstatic at the opportunity as I have been wearing glasses myself since I was in elementary school. This project was very near to my heart and I was happy to make Bailey come alive on the page!

Client wanted a mature update to their brand geared toward supporting women who are or have dealt with postpartum depression.
